Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains in particular:

• which of your personal data we will process,
• for what purposes and in what manner we will process your personal data and the legal basis for such processing,
• to whom your personal data may be transferred,
• for how long we will process your personal data,
• what rights you have in relation to the protection of your personal data.

Scope of personal data processing

We process different data depending on how you use our services.

1. When you visit our website (www.guideglare.com):
   • Cookies and website usage data (see the Cookies section for more information).
2. When you register for and use the GuideGlare application (app.guideglare.com):
   • First and last name,
   • e-mail address, phone number,
   • address (including billing address), company registration number (IČO), VAT number (DIČ), company name,
   • other personal data necessary for the fulfilment of our mutual obligations,
   • cookies and data about your use of the Application.
3. When you contact us:
   • First and last name,
   • e-mail address and phone number,
   • the content of your message or conversation.
4. When you use the free AI tools on our website (e.g. AI chat, AI detector, translator):
   • Inputs entered into the tool (for the purpose of providing the result) and data about your use of the tools.

Purpose and legal basis of processing

If you are a visitor to our website or a user of the Application, we process technically necessary cookies on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the proper functioning of our services. We process analytics and marketing cookies only on the basis of your consent, which you can grant or withdraw at any time via the cookie banner on our website.

If you are our customer, supplier or a user of the Application, we process your personal data primarily for the performance of a contract or to comply with legal obligations (in particular tax and accounting obligations), or on the basis of a legitimate interest.

If you contact us (e.g. via the contact form or live chat), we process your personal data for the purpose of handling your enquiry, on the basis of a legitimate interest or, where applicable, negotiations to enter into a contract.

We also process data about the use of our free AI tools and technical data about the use of our services on the basis of our legitimate interest in ensuring the security and integrity of our platform — in particular to protect our services against abuse, automated access and attacks.

Inputs entered into AI features (on the website and in the Application) may be processed by cloud AI infrastructure providers acting as our processors for the purpose of providing the result. Your inputs are not used to train AI models.

Statistics and published studies

On the basis of our legitimate interest, we may use data about the use of our free services to create statistics and publicly published studies. In doing so, the following always applies:

• We publish exclusively aggregated and anonymised data — never the content of submitted texts or conversations, quotations from them, or any data allowing the identification of a specific user.
• We only use data from the free tools on the website and from free accounts. We never use data of users with an active paid subscription for these purposes.

Who has access to your personal data

Your personal data may be processed on our behalf by processors as part of certain activities. These are, in particular:

• Entities providing server, web, cloud or IT services.
• Entities providing communication and support tools.
• Entities providing accounting, legal and payment services.
• Processors providing consulting, audits and other external services.

Specific processors and third-party services

Google (Cloud, Ads, AdSense, Analytics, OAuth)

Google Cloud Platform: Your personal data may be stored on the Google Cloud Platform. The data is processed in data centres within the European Union.

Google Ads, Google AdSense and Google Analytics: We use these tools to analyse website traffic, deliver personalised advertising and display advertising on some pages of our website. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy.

Sign in with Google (Google OAuth): Our application allows you to sign in using a Google account. From your Google account we access only basic profile information – your name and e-mail address. We use this data exclusively for verification, sign-in and communication. Our handling of information obtained from Google accounts fully complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use Requirements.

Stripe

For subscription payments we use the payment solution provided by Stripe, Inc. For more information, please visit the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising

We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with our website. For more information, please visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Meta (Pixel and Ads)

We use the Meta Pixel on our website to measure the effectiveness of advertising. For more information, see the Meta Privacy Policy.

tawk.to (live chat)

We use the tawk.to service for live chat with visitors to our website. As part of this service, the content of your conversation with our support and technical data about your visit are processed. For more information, see the tawk.to Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare (Turnstile)

To protect our forms and free tools against abuse and automated access, we use the Cloudflare Turnstile service, which processes technical data about your device and connection (e.g. IP address). For more information, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Transfers of personal data outside the EU

Some of our processors (in particular Microsoft, Google, Meta, Stripe, tawk.to or Cloudflare) may also process personal data outside the European Union, primarily in the United States of America. In such cases, the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or, where applicable, on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

Duration of personal data processing

We will process your personal data for as long as we provide our services to you or perform our mutual contract, for the duration of a legitimate interest, or for the period necessary to comply with archiving and other obligations under applicable law.

We will always tell you the exact duration of the processing of your personal data if you contact us at gdpr@explicaire.com.

Your rights arising from the processing of personal data

In relation to our processing of your personal data, you have the following rights:

• The right of access to personal data,
• the right to rectification,
• the right to erasure,
• the right to restriction of processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to processing,
• the right to withdraw your consent to processing at any time,
• the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing,
• the right to lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data.

Our activities are also supervised by the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection, with which you may lodge a complaint if you are dissatisfied (www.uoou.cz).

Reporting of security incidents

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent security breaches. In the event of a security incident that could endanger your rights and freedoms, we will inform you without undue delay via your e-mail address and, where appropriate, we will also publish information about the incident on our website.

Changes to this policy

Our privacy policy may be changed from time to time. We will not limit your rights under this policy without your explicit consent. All changes will be published on this page.
